Ruszyły prace nad projektem “Sound Of Diversity”
Gmina Aleksandrów Łódzki przygotowała propozycję projektu wraz z ponad 10 partnerami europejskimi w odpowiedzi na nabór wniosków Sieci Miast (CERV-2024-CITIZENS-TOWN-NT). Program CERV promuje prawa obywatelskie, wartości UE, aktywność obywatelską i praworządność. Wniosek projektowy jest obecnie w fazie oceny i mamy wielką nadzieję, że zakończy się ona sukcesem.
“Sound Of Diversity” (dźwięk różnorodności) to zakrojona na szeroką skalę sieć miast, której celem jest wzmocnienie roli władz lokalnych w zakresie promocji różnorodności, przeciwdziałania dyskryminacji i integracji mniejszości. Łączymy lokalne obszary, w których odbywają się cieszące się dużym zainteresowaniem wydarzenia, takie jak Festiwal Romski w Pradze (CZ), Festiwal Filmów Żydowskich w Zagrzebiu (CR), Festiwal Gier w Obidos (PT), Festiwal Sztuk Różnych i Summer Dying Loud w Aleksandrowie Łódzkim (PL), Cultural days of Barlad (RO), the Greek Dance Fest in Kileler (GR), the Multitude Festival in County of Seine-Saint-Denis (FR), the People Feast in Molfetta (IT). Podczas każdego z tych wydarzeń, oprócz regularnych, dobrze ugruntowanych aktywności sieci miast, takich jak: konferencje, sesje praktyczne, wymiana dobrych praktyk czy wyjazdy studyjne, stworzymy także plenerową scenę Sound of Diversity, otwartą przestrzeń z dużą liczbą uczestników, w celu nawiązania kontaktu z lokalną społecznością, aktywistami, młodzieżą, przedstawicielami mniejszości i ekspertami, gdzie będziemy dyskutować na tematy związane z różnorodnością, przeciwdziałaniem dyskryminacji, włączeniu społecznemu oraz inicjatywami UE w tej dziedzinie. Scena “Sound Of Diversity” wprowadzi nowe formaty i tematy transnarodowe związane z polityką UE, umożliwiając zajęcie się lokalnymi programami w odnowionej, świeżej i często kwestionowanej perspektywie oraz poprzez uwzględnienie: wymiaru transnarodowego, podejścia włączającego, włączenia przeciwdziałania dyskryminacji międzysektorowej i równości płci . Efektem projektu będzie m.in. stworzenie praktycznego poradnika na temat różnorodności, włączenia społecznego i przynależności oraz ulepszona polityka w tych obszarach w miastach partnerskich.

The Commune of Aleksandrów Łódzki has prepared a project proposal together with over 10 European partners in response to the Call for proposals Networks of Towns (CERV-2024-CITIZENS-TOWN-NT). The CERV programme promotes citizens rights, EU values, civic participation and the rule of law. The Sound of Diversity is a large-scale Network of Towns which aims at reinforcing the role of local authorities in the field of diversity promotion, anti-discrimination and inclusion of minorities. We are connecting local areas that host high-visibility events, such as the Romani festival in Prague (CZ), the Jewish Film Festival in Zagreb (CR), the Game Festival in Obidos (PT), the Festival of Various Arts in Aleksandrów Łódzki and Summer Dying Loud Festival (PL), Cultural days of Barlad (RO), the Greek Dance Fest in Kileler (GR), the Multitude Festival in County of Seine-Saint-Denis (FR), the People Feast in Molfetta (IT). During each of these community events, on top of the regular, well established formats of networks of towns, such as: conferences, hands-on sessions (training and/or seminars), exchanges of good practices, study trips, expert inputs addressed to partners’ representatives and stakeholders, we will also set up an open-air Sound of Diversity Stage, an open community space with a large number of participants, to engage with local people, activists, youth, minority representatives and experts on topics related to diversity management, anti-discrimination, inclusion, and the EU initiatives, policies and vision in this field. The Sound of Diversity Stage will introduce new formats and transnational topics pertinent to EU policies, enabling the tackling of local policies and programmes in a renewed, fresh and often challenged perspective and by incorporating: transnational dimension, inclusive approach, mainstreamed intersectional antidiscrimination and gender equality. The project will result, among others, in creating a practical Guidebook on diversity, inclusion and belonging, and improved policies in these areas in the partnered towns.
